Rosie tweeted Tuesday at Republican Senators Susan Collins and Jeff Flake — who both hold key votes for the legislation — offering to pay ’em $2 mil each if they voted no.
The comedian immediately came under fire for what many called straight-up attempted bribery of a U.S. official, which is a crime. Rosie will likely say she’s a comedian and it’s just a joke … however, she did say, “no s**t.”

Trump offers New Year’s Eve message
President Donald Trump is offering a New Year’s Eve message, saying, “What a year it’s been, and we’re just getting started.”
Trump also tweeted Sunday: “Together, we are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Happy New Year!!”
The tweet included a celebratory video recap of the president’s first year in office, showing gauzy footage of him meeting with world leaders, visiting disaster victims and giving speeches, all accompanied by inspirational music and clips of Trump speaking.
The Republican president is spending New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach, Florida, where his Mar-a-Lago resort is located.
The White House says he has been briefed on New Year’s Eve security precautions around the country and will continue to monitor those efforts.

Trump Offers Dreamers Deal in Exchange For Massive Cuts in Legal Immigration
Foreign national parents, children and siblings of American citizens and legal residents have become the latest target as President Donald Trump and Congress tangle over immigration. While much of the focus of the immigration debate has been on 800,000 DACA recipients and millions of other undocumented immigrants, Trump has pushed family-based immigration into the debate. This week, he offered up a path to citizenship for the population of undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers in exchange for a list of border security and immigration enforcement resources, a border wall and significant cuts in the visas reserved for parents, children and siblings of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents. Specific details have yet to be drafted but if the White House’s proposal to cut legal immigration succeeds, that means U.S. citizens wouldn’t be able to bring certain family members to the states.
